All of our Coaches are trained somatic therapists engaging in a Therapeutic Coaching capacity. They are credentialed, educated and experienced in the specific modalities (psychedelics, somatic experiencing, visualizations, etc) they offer. While we don't offer consultations directly with our Coaches, we do offer chats with our Concierge team, as well as the opportunity to change your Coach at any time.
Several factors will determine whether or not you succeed in getting yourself well and healing over the course of your membership with Catbird (which we hope is a lifetime!), including your personal dedication, living environment, support system and community, current health status and more. Thus, we don't offer refunds for your monthly membership fee, but anyone who is dissatisfied with the quality level of the services we provide may cancel their membership at any time.
Yes, alternative forms of healing are most likely eligible for reimbursement via your Health Savings or Flexible Spending Accounts. See this article for more info.
Many of the healing treatments that we offer in partnership with our Catbird Practitioner Network are available to book using your monthly Sessions Credits. For Basic Memberships, you receive is (1) Session Credit, while Premium comes with (2) Session Credits. Note that some types of treatments (any that are more than 50min; require specific equipment, held onsite at a clinical space; etc) will have an additional charge.
Here at Catbird, improving equity and accessibility in health care is part of our mission to "Heal the planet, one person at a time." Our Catbird Cares program offers significant reductions in membership costs (which range depending on proof of financial need).
